ENDING THE YEAR ON A CHARITABLE NOTE

Chasse makes sizable donation to Manos de Cristo

Austin, TX, Dec. 15, 2010 – Beverly Chasse, president and CEO of Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc., furthered her company’s dedication to community service recently by making a sizable donation to Austin-local Manos de Cristo at the non-profit’s Lovin’ Austin Celebration held at Mercury Hall in November.

The event honors the accomplishments of Manos’ 2010 corp of volunteers, which included Chasse. This past year the group totaled more than 6,700 hours of community service. During the event, Chasse pledged a hefty contribution to help fund the organization’s up and coming initiative to purchase new space that will house its food pantry and clothes closet.

Chasse has steadily supported Manos de Cristo over the last three years, and more recently she has served on its board of directors. The non-profit serves the central Texas area by providing a safe place for the homeless and working poor of Austin to come for emergency food and clothing, oral health care and education.

Chasse partners with DiscoverHope to inspire change again

Chasse Consulting’s philanthropic efforts continued when the company offered a lofty contribution to Austin-local DiscoverHope at its Holiday of Hope charity event held in December.

The monetary gift will help the non-profit continue its mission to its dual approach to poverty alleviation – microloans and training. By providing access to credit and developing entrepreneurial training, loan recipients are equipped with the tools to run their own businesses and be financially self-sufficient.

Chasse Consulting has donated to DiscoverHope in the past. In October 2010, Chasse provided a monetary contribution to the organization at its charity party held in Austin.

Community service is a staple of the Chasse Consulting company philosophy. In fact, employees are encouraged annually to dedicate 10 percent of their skill or resources to a charitable event of their choosing, a company practice since 2002.

“At the end of the day, staying true to our mission, that mission of offering your time and your talents to those in need, is very important,” said CEO Beverly Chasse. “And to me, helping those who are impoverished, both locally and internationally, is not just a choice, but something we do.”

Beverly Chasse, President and CEO:

Beginning in 2002, Beverly Chasse combined her 25 years of leadership and sales management experience with her goal to change organizations’ sales strategies to create her own company, Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc. Seven years later Chasse has transformed the way Fortune 500 organizations sell. The mission is cutting-edge, yet clear cut—help organizations strategically improve their sales performance, revenue stream, and productivity in today’s competitive and fast paced marketplace. Because of her hard work and dedication to the field, Chasse has earned the designation as one of the most effective sales strategy consultants in the industry. However, even with her busy schedule, Chasse makes it a priority to reach out to those less fortunate. She volunteers countless hours of her own time to non-profit organizations not only in the Austin community, but around the world. This has included trips to Africa to work with local villages and underprivileged children there. She also serves as a board member for both the Manos de Cristo and ventured on goodwill missions overseas to provide instruction on effective business skills and good practices, proving once again that she is a true leader in the Austin community. In addition, each year Chasse commits part of her company’s profits to children’s charitable organizations, so that every child in poverty can have a better chance of defying the odds and overcoming life’s challenges.
