Salman to Lead Business Development
AUSTIN, TX, January 1, 2010—Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc. announces the promotion of Rana Salman, Ph.D. to VP of Business Development. Salman will report to Chasse Consulting President and CEO, Beverly Chasse.
As the VP of Business Development, Salman will be responsible for revenue growth by seeking new business opportunities while expanding existing ones. “In an era of economic downturn and fierce competition, today’s leaders are faced with immense pressure to increase revenues, reduce cost, and improve competitive advantage,” Salman said. “I’m looking forward to helping these leaders address their challenges by creating a strategy that aligns to the organization’s objectives, developing an execution process to ensure the objectives are met, and building the content and training that drives both the strategy and execution.”
Salman has more than 10 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, and public relations. She specializes in creating global strategies to ensure growth and alignment. Her background extends into different industries, including finance, health care, pharmaceutical, nonprofit organizations, and technology.
Salman is an award-winning writer and orator and an adamant researcher. She approaches every project with a keen sense to detail and has a true interest in understanding the root-cause of a problem rather than creating quick fixes. “Our customers rely on us to help them improve their sales performance,” Salman said. “It is my responsibility to truly understand their world, actively listen to their needs, and help them create effective solutions.”
Salman has a Ph.D. in Organization and Management and an MBA in Marketing and Brand Management. She holds a B.S. degree from McPherson College and has numerous industry certifications.
