<justify>Austin, TX, June 22, 2011 - Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc., a leading provider of sales performance consulting for Fortune 500 companies, announced an expansion into the translation arena this summer, bringing new jobs to Austin previously outsourced overseas. The new service will be available as an add-on package or stand-alone product.

“For years we’ve partnered closely with our clients to provide cost-effective sales solutions that enhance the sales cycle and effectively generate revenue growth,” said Chasse Consulting president and CEO Beverly Chasse. “Our new translation department will allow us to augment our core product offerings and seasoned staff with an even greater capability to broaden and exceed customer needs.”

Previously, Chasse clients were forced to send material to foreign and/or third party contractors to have projects translated for non-English speaking audiences. The move to bring translation in house as a bundled service or singular product arms Chasse with the added flexibility of meeting customer needs in a more convenient manner that eliminates outside agencies and added costs. Chasse has hired Rochelle Carlin as the new unit’s director.

“We’re happy to stay in the company tradition of attracting top-quality talent while bringing additional jobs to Austin.” said Chasse. “Rochelle boasts more than 10 years experience in the translation and project management field, and we look forward to leveraging her quality expertise in tandem with our product solutions to continue expanding our robust portfolio of services.”

A year after relocating its offices, Chasse Consulting has seen exponential growth, having more than quadrupled its staff. The company spent July filling its new divisional needs, hiring translators with specializations in French, German, Chinese and Japanese, with additional hires for other languages to come within the year.

“When a company sends their translations to a traditional language service provider (LSP), the LSP’s main concern is purchasing, from a freelancer, the least expensive translation option at the fastest turnaround possible to ensure profits,” said Carlin. “At Chasse Consulting, our focus is on quality. Our team is here to collaborate closely with the client to ensure that the highest levels of quality and customer service are attained.”

Austin, TX, May 23, 2011 – Austin nonprofit Manos de Cristo unanimously elected Beverly Chasse, Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc. founder and CEO, as its new board president at the organization’s monthly board meeting Monday night. Her appointment comes after spending the last three years working with the local charity that provides low-income families of Central Texas with access to free dental health clinics, a clothes closet, a food pantry, and assorted educational services.

Beverly Chasse was named board president of the Austin nonprofit Manos de Cristo on May 23, 2011.

“Manos de Cristo is an incredible advocate for the local impoverished,” said Chasse. “I am deeply humbled by this opportunity with a wholehearted thanks to the board for this investment in confidence, and I take the reins with a fully committed approach to advancing Manos de Cristo’s reach in the area and seeking newer ways through which we can have a positive impact.”

Chasse has been an active supporter of Manos’ charity efforts since 2008. Her company participates annually in its back-to-school events, and Chasse has held a seat on the Manos board for the last two and a half years, having served as the developmental chairwoman since early 2010. She currently spearheads the planning and production of the organization’s first-ever charity golf tournament, the Manos de Cristo Charity Golf Classic, which is to be held in September. Other plans in 2011 involve expanding the non-profit’s charitable initiatives and growing local involvement.

Outside of Manos de Cristo, Chasse also dedicates her time to supporting an assortment of other organizations including World Vision through the West Hills Presbyterian Church of Austin, DiscoverHope and Charity: Water, to which she’s donated funds for the construction of four freshwater wells in three Ethiopian villages and at a medical clinic. Community service has long been a priority for Chasse and is even a guiding principle of her consulting company’s vision statement. In fact, employees are encouraged annually to dedicate 10 percent of their skill or resources to a charitable event of their choosing, a company practice since 2002.

###

About Manos de Cristo:
Manos de Cristo is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering low-income individuals by promoting dignity and self-reliance. Manos was founded in 1988, and the dental clinic opened its doors to the Austin community in 1990. Manos hosts a wide range of adult education classes; houses a food pantry, a clothes closet, and two computer labs.

Manos de Cristo receives support from individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations, whose contributions enable Manos to help more than 15,000 people in central Texas each year. Led by Executive Director Julie Ballesteros, Manos is a safe place for the homeless and working poor of Austin to come for emergency food and clothing, oral health care, and education.

AUSTIN, TX, February 15, 2011 – In the spirit of love and Valentine’s Day, Beverly Chasse, president and CEO of Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc., served as master of ceremonies for Austin-local Manos de Cristo’s 2011 All You Need is Love Gala, helping to raise funds for the non-profit’s efforts to provide the central Texas area with a safe place for the homeless and working poor of Austin to come for emergency food and clothing, oral health care and education.

“Your money is more than school supplies…it’s more than a bag of groceries… it’s more than free dental services,” said Chasse in her opening speech. “…it is about eliminating the judgment and social stigma wrapped around how we look verses how good our soul is…[so] trust in the knowledge [that] you [will] contribute to saving lives. Those thinking about giving, please do. We need you.”

And indeed the group gave, as the night’s 194 attendees were able to raise more funds than last year.

That gala, in its sixth year, was held at the Renaissance Austin hotel Saturday, February 12. An auction was accompanied with live music and dancing by The Pictures, an Austin-based cover band.

Chasse Consulting has been an active supporter of Manos’ charity efforts in recent years, participating annually in its back to school events. CEO Beverly Chasse sits on the Manos board of directors as its developmental chair and was honored last December for her volunteer work. Plans in 2011 involve expanding the non-profit’s charitable initiatives and growing local involvement.

“There is a saying: We are all angels with just one wing, and when we embrace each other, we can fly,” said Chasse in the closing remarks of her speech. “And this is why we need you…Manos is an angel with just one wing, and with your embrace, Manos is an organization that will fly.”

New York City, NY, Dec. 20, 2010 – Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc. ended 2010 on a charitable note by joining a number of companies to sponsor the fifth annual Charity: Water Charity: Ball hosted at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Charity: Water is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing safe water wells to third-world communities that go without a sanitary drinking supply.

“This room can accomplish something incredible tonight. You can walk out of here and say ‘I went to a party that gave clean water to over 19,000 people’ - that’s more than the Madison Square Garden full,” said Adrien Greiner, event host and star of HBO’s hit series Entourage. “We’ve got 5,000 people in Ethiopia who are waiting, 4,300 people in Haiti and…more than 10,000 people waiting in the Central African Republic. They are waiting for you, right now, to step up on this stage. Let’s get this started.”

Indeed the fundraising gala started, as more than 1,200 guests, including Chasse Consulting president and CEO Beverly Chasse and vice-president for business development Rana Salman, helped raise $470,000 through varying donations — an amount that will provide 19,300 people with clean water. Even before the evening’s events, more than $1 million had been raised through during a September campaign.

Charity: Ball guests were tasked with raising the remaining funds to reach Charity: Water’s overall goal of $1.7 million – a mark they hit.

In addition to water wells, the generosity of the event’s guests will also aid in building health clinics, assorted large scale water projects and schools in Ethiopia, Haiti and the Central African Republic. Construction is expected to begin in 2011 and completed be by 2012. Chasse Consulting has partnered with Charity: Water in the past, having donated three freshwater wells in June 2010. The company’s donation marks its continued dedication to community service – a key principle of the firm’s mission.

Over the last four years, Charity: Water has seen tremendous growth under founder Scott Harrison. His efforts have paid off as his organization has built more than 3,000 sustainable water projects in 17 countries. And since 100 percent of all public donations directly fund these projects, Charity: Water has won the hearts of many non-profit supporters worldwide, especially the support of Chasse Consulting and its CEO, who matched her company’s contribution with a personal donation match of her own.

“I’ve walked these villages. I’ve seen people carrying 40-pound water jugs, walking back and forth for miles many times a day – it’s crushing,” said Chasse. “I feel blessed that I have the opportunity to provide funding for such helpful projects that will change the lives of hundreds of people.”

One of Chasse Consulting’s charitable goals for 2011 is to garner more local donations for Charity: Water. Interested parties can contact Chasse at (512) 347-1474, ext. 20 or visit www.charitywater.org.

Lovin' Austin Volunteer Honorees Kathy Schneider, Laura McAfee, Aaron De La O, Beverly Chasse, and Michael Matthews (Photo courtesy of Manos de Cristo)

The event honors the accomplishments of Manos’ 2010 corp of volunteers, which included Chasse. This past year the group totaled more than 6,700 hours of community service. During the event, Chasse pledged a hefty contribution to help fund the organization’s up and coming initiative to purchase new space that will house its food pantry and clothes closet.

Chasse has steadily supported Manos de Cristo over the last three years, and more recently she has served on its board of directors. The non-profit serves the central Texas area by providing a safe place for the homeless and working poor of Austin to come for emergency food and clothing, oral health care and education.

Chasse partners with DiscoverHope to inspire change again

Chasse Consulting’s philanthropic efforts continued when the company offered a lofty contribution to Austin-local DiscoverHope at its Holiday of Hope charity event held in December.

<img src="http://www.chasseconsulting.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/andrea.jpg" alt="Chasse Consulting's donation will help DiscoverHope provide resources to women like Andrea so that they may become financially independent.
The monetary gift will help the non-profit continue its mission to its dual approach to poverty alleviation – microloans and training. By providing access to credit and developing entrepreneurial training, loan recipients are equipped with the tools to run their own businesses and be financially self-sufficient.

Chasse Consulting has donated to DiscoverHope in the past. In October 2010, Chasse provided a monetary contribution to the organization at its charity party held in Austin.

Community service is a staple of the Chasse Consulting company philosophy. In fact, employees are encouraged annually to dedicate 10 percent of their skill or resources to a charitable event of their choosing, a company practice since 2002.

“At the end of the day, staying true to our mission, that mission of offering your time and your talents to those in need, is very important,” said CEO Beverly Chasse. “And to me, helping those who are impoverished, both locally and internationally, is not just a choice, but something we do.”

Beginning in 2002, Beverly Chasse combined her 25 years of leadership and sales management experience with her goal to change organizations’ sales strategies to create her own company, Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc. Seven years later Chasse has transformed the way Fortune 500 organizations sell. The mission is cutting-edge, yet clear cut—help organizations strategically improve their sales performance, revenue stream, and productivity in today’s competitive and fast paced marketplace. Because of her hard work and dedication to the field, Chasse has earned the designation as one of the most effective sales strategy consultants in the industry. However, even with her busy schedule, Chasse makes it a priority to reach out to those less fortunate. She volunteers countless hours of her own time to non-profit organizations not only in the Austin community, but around the world. This has included trips to Africa to work with local villages and underprivileged children there. She also serves as a board member for both the Manos de Cristo and ventured on goodwill missions overseas to provide instruction on effective business skills and good practices, proving once again that she is a true leader in the Austin community. In addition, each year Chasse commits part of her company’s profits to children’s charitable organizations, so that every child in poverty can have a better chance of defying the odds and overcoming life’s challenges.

Austin, TX, Oct. 13, 2010 – Foregoing the latter half of Austin’s wet and muggy September, Beverly Chasse, president and CEO of Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc., spent two weeks volunteering her expertise and skill in the picturesque Eastern European nation of Kazakhstan, instructing university students on American business skills, management and ethics.

“The students had such a strong thirst for knowledge, said Chasse. “Especially when it came to learning about ethical business standards in Kazakhstan and how it differed from the rest of the world.”

Working in conjunction with Co-Serve International, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching and sharing about servant leadership at places of learning around the world, Chasse used her 25 years of experience in the business consulting field to teach a variety of business courses to students at Kazakh-American Free University (KAFU) in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan.

The course curriculum was developed by Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies Inc. and covered such topics as the basics of managing a business, an overview of managing employees, principles of leadership and the importance of corporate social responsibility and business ethics in today’s economic climate. Chasse led graduate and undergraduate classes all while being immersed in Kazakhstan’s rich Russian and Islamic infused culture.

“The country still holds cultural ties with its old-world Soviet history,” recalled Chasse. “This made for one of the most unique experiences I have ever encountered in all my travels.”

Chasse’s trip comes a little over two months after her company hosted two student interns from Kazakhstan, who spent three weeks with Chasse Consulting, learning the basics of American business and experiencing Austin flair.

Austin, TX, Oct. 4, 2010 – Adding yet another organization to its portfolio of charities, Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc. has recently donated a sizable contribution to Austin-based DiscoverHope, an international non-profit organization that provides financial independence resources to women in developing countries.

Founded in 2004, DiscoverHope affords women the opportunity to create their own prosperity through microcredit, entrepreneurship, and training. The work serves women living on $2 a day in third-world nations so they can shape their own destinies through creation of entrepreneurial businesses.

On Saturday Oct. 2, DiscoverHope hosted Chasse Consulting employees and other top donors at its third annual Band Together for Hope event held at Austin-local Spider House with a hearty goal to raise funds for 200 additional mircoloans. The event included live music, free food, giveaways and a chance to encourage buzz for the organization’s cause.

Microlending has gained popularity worldwide as an effective tool to provide a path from poverty to sustainable income. Austin-based microlender DiscoverHope has developed a microlending model that is both unique and successful with a 100% loan repayment rate.

Since 2008, DiscoverHope has funded 275 loans with an average loan of $200 and a 100% payback success rate. More than 1,700 participants have completed over 600 trainings. Loan recipients have reported more than $6,000 in new income generation directly related to skills and knowledge obtained in the trainings, which cycles directly back into their families and community.

AUSTIN, TX, August 9, 2010 — Employees of Austin-based business consultancy Chasse Consulting Sales Strategies Inc. were on hand Monday to volunteer at the annual Manos de Cristo Back-to-School Program.

The event allows more than 2,000 pre-kindergarten to fifth grade students and their parents to visit with Manos volunteers to choose school supplies, backpacks and clothing for the upcoming school year. Chasse employees offered their time as part of the company’s annual charity initiative.

“It’s an experience I am wonderfully grateful for,” Chasse technical writer Sheryl Floyd said. “In many ways I think, as employees, we gained more satisfaction than the kids did, simply because not only did we send them off with supplies but with smiles too, and, hopefully, excitement for the new year.”

Community service is a guiding principle of the Chasse company mission. Employees are encouraged annually to dedicate 10 percent of their skill or resources to a charitable event of their choosing, a company practice since 2002. President and CEO Beverly Chasse, a current member of Manos de Cristos board of directors, is also heavily involved in community service, including work with the West Hills Presbyterian Church and various national and international philanthropic organizations like World Vision, Charity: Water and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She also recently spent two weeks in Zambia, Africa where she met with locals to discuss the need for education around AIDS and the need to address key issues such as the lack of food and a sanitary water supply.

“Manos de Cristo provides critical programs to our Austin impoverished. To give back to this community of wonderful people is simply the right thing to do, “ Chasse said. “As an organization, the Chasse Consulting team thrives on working with Manos de Cristo. It is a blessing that we have the means help, and I hope that more people discover this wonderful charity.”

AUSTIN, TX, July 23, 2010 – President and CEO of Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies, Inc., Beverly Chasse, was named one of the 25 Central Texas Women of Influence by the Austin Business Journal at its 16th annual “Profiles in Power & Women of Influence” luncheon awards ceremony, held at the Westin Austin Hotel in the Domain.

Among the audience of 500 Austin business professionals were many Chasse associates who came in full support of their winner. “Working with Beverly has always been a privilege and great learning experience. She’s an amazing leader with a big heart, and I can’t think of anyone who deserves this award more,” said Mamie Woods, vice-president of product development as well as Chasse’s nominator and dear friend. “The truth is, Beverly has always been a woman of influence to us, and it’s nice to see her recognized for it.”

Chasse was selected for the award from over 70 nominees, and it comes in full recognition of her ability to blaze her own path, forge commendable leadership principles and serve as an influential model for future women leaders.

And for good reason – in addition to her charitable efforts here in Austin, which includes board memberships for the two charitable organizations Manos de Cristo and EMPACT Africa, and her involvement with the West Hills Presbyterian Church, Chasse also supports national and international philanthropic initiatives including World Vision, Charity: Water and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She also recently spent two weeks in Zambia, Africa where she met with locals to discuss the need for education around AIDS and the need to address key issues such as the lack of food and a sanitary water supply.

Chasse’s commitment to others does not stop there, as she continues it by empowering her employees. Year in and year out, she asks them to dedicate 10 percent of their time, skill or resources to a charitable event of their choosing. This humbling and rewarding experience has been happily carried out since the company’s founding in 2002.

Chasse offers her full thanks to the Austin Business Journal for the honor and humbly accepts it with a dedicated promise to continue serving Austin both on a professional and charitable level for many years to come.

AUSTIN, TX, July 17, 2010 – In an effort to aid the nearly one billion people who go without clean drinking water every day, Beverly Chasse, President and CEO of Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies Inc., recently donated three freshwater wells to an Ethiopian village in partnership with the non-profit organization Charity: Water.

Since 2006, Charity: Water has dedicated itself to providing sanitary drinking conditions to villagers living in conflict-ridden nations of the third world. Lack of a clean hydration source and basic sanitation are the root cause of the 80 percent of diseases that kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Charity: Water uses 100 percent of its public donations to combat this worldwide water crisis that is responsible for the deaths of 4,500 children daily. Providing safe drinking water is not only critical in preventing these illnesses, but also helps curb rape, abduction and murder rates.

Each of the donated freshwater wells supply 250+ people with a clean water source, and, by constructing these water wells directly in communities, Chasse is helping reduce what is currently a three-hour journey for water to just 15 minutes. Villagers can now stay within the safe vicinity of their homes, preventing incidents of rape and child abductions. The new water source will also allow children more time to attend school and villagers to spend time on economically fruitful projects such as properly irrigating small gardens to secure a food supply. Charity: Water volunteers will also be on hand to educate families on suitable sanitation practices to help control the spread of harmful diseases and thereby improve the overall health of the community. Today, 2,524 water projects have been funded and have afforded 1,130,986 people with clean water in 16 countries.

Interested donors can offer monthly monetary donations and/or sponsor the construction of water wells and latrines. For more information on Charity: Water and ways you can get involved, visit their Web site at www.charitywater.org.

Beverly Chasse, President and CEO of Chasse Consulting: Sales Strategies Inc. has combined her 25 years of leadership and sales management experience to transform the way Fortune 500 organizations sell. The mission is cutting-edge, yet clear cut—help organizations strategically improve their sales performance, revenue stream and productivity in today’s competitive and fast paced marketplace. Her steadfast dedication to her clients is only matched by her passion to reach out to those less fortunate. She volunteers countless hours of her own time to non-profit organizations not only in the Austin community, but around the world. This has included trips to Africa to work with local villages and underprivileged children there. She also serves as a board member for both the Manos de Cristo and EMPACT Africa non-profit organizations, and now, has partnered with Charity: Water to fight against water-born illnesses, proving once again that she is a true leader in the Austin community. In addition, each year Chasse commits part of her company’s profits to children’s charitable organizations, so that every child in poverty can have a better chance of defying the odds and overcoming life’s challenges.
